Truth captions 049373PD as being Claude Kingston, however, the only Kingston in Suburban Rd, South perth is Frederick Charles Kingston. Claude Kingston was a theatre promoter who was not in WA at this time. The identity of this man as F. C. Kingston is confirmed by a portrait published in the West Australian wireless news & musical world, 1 Jan. 1930, p.17 with a brief article about him becoming manager of radio station 6ML. |
